Profile of “the aCADDemy”

the aCADDemy – College of Architectural Engineering Technology, the Pioneer College in the Eastern Province of Sri Lanka in the field of Architectural Technology was established in 2008 with the aim of providing a relief to the student in this field. The students in the past, before the establishment of the college, had experienced the untold hardships to gain knowledge in this field. The encouragement of parents, students, professionals, academics, well –wishers of society, Social Service Organizations etc. to uplift the College is excellent and welcome.

In keeping with its motto, “Learning for Tomorrow”, the College strives to prepare the syllabus of courses in considering the employability to market the students while maintaining academic excellence in all areas of study.

The College with a proud history of thirteen successful years continues its endeavor to meet the challenge of maintaining its position as the ‘Pioneer College in outlook and character’.

There are high standard learning opportunities in the College with its extensive resources, which include fully fledged library, lecture halls, IT labs, recreation halls etc. and the teaching consists of a variety of lectures, seminars, trainings, workshops, group discussions and unlimited practical classes.

There is also a range of course in Architecture, Engineering and Constructions, Project Management, Information Communication Technology, Graphic Designing and CCTV Technology.

The College has produced many successful candidates to get the job or to enhance their positions in their chosen fields. The College looks towards the future with excitement, hope and optimism and invites students to build their competencies and be a part of success story of the College.
